My Acer Aspire laptop is starting to overheat....other then turning it off, how should I deal with this?

or try using your laptop in well air conditioned rooms only.
or put your laptop on well insulated ice bar

It might be some problem with your exhausting system or may be some problem with battery so just check it out and get solved it otherwise it may be harm to your laptop life and also the life of the battery.
